This is ours.
1988
USA Financial was founded on April 1, 1988, by Mike Walters and his father, Gary.
Now known as USA Financial Insurance Services, our roots extend back to the early days of Field Marketing Organizations (FMOs), working closely with licensed insurance agents to provide product education and distribution in the annuity, life insurance, and long-term care insurance areas.
1998
USA Financial Securities joins the family.
As one of the very first FMOs to launch into the securities and investment advice space, we have a long track record, helping advisors integrate this important offering into their practice.
2000
Fill-The-Room Seminar System is introduced.
This offering marked the unofficial birth of Advisor Advancement, a company committed to financial advisor marketing, business, and advice technology as well as coaching and consulting services.
2006
USA Financial Formulas launches first investment strategies.
After years of co-developing formulaic investment strategies with First Trust Portfolios, we introduced the world to what we now call “Formulaic Trending Money Management.”
2008
Asset-Cycle Portfolio System software comes to life.
What started out as a simple financial planning idea that could be sketched out on a napkin became our entry point into the world of financial planning software.
2017
USA Financial Exchange is formally introduced, challenging the conventional approach to turnkey asset management.
Our continuous commitment to supporting the asset management efforts of our advisors was on full display after the launch of USA Financial Exchange.
2018
We acquire Advisor Protocol and have our first billion-dollar year.
In a year that culminated in more than $1B being invested through our family of companies, we also acquired branding and coaching firm Advisor Protocol.

Investment research partners are introduced and quickly expand.
This collaboration led to new investment strategies being made with institutional partners like JUST Capital, Value Line, The Sherman Sheet, Shark Tank celebrity Kevin O’Leary (O’Shares), and the first ever Index launched for use in an SMA with Standard & Poor’s.
