Jim Mcconnell is the Chief Operations Officer and joined USA Financial in 2007. He ensures the firm meets commitments to clients and advisors by delivering products and services to the field.
He leads the team responsible for all new business and new business processing, suitability review of applications, working incoming and outgoing transfers and distributions, and trade processing for brokerage and advisory accounts.
Jim started in the financial industry in 2003, with the initial expectation of becoming a financial advisor. In the process, he discovered he was more operationally minded than sales minded. Before joining USA Financial, his previous experience working in a banking environment led him to a greater understanding that the importance of attention to detail and accuracy could directly apply to skills he performed in several operations team roles he was charged to execute at USA.
Jim graduated from Davenport University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. He is married and has two young adult daughters currently working on their education. In his free time, Jim enjoys sailing, flying, and scuba diving. He’s also a big hockey and college football fan.
