Liverance

Steve Liverance is the Chief Human Capital Officer at USA Financial, joining the firm in 2016. In his role, he is responsible for all human resource functions for the firm and HR consulting for our associated financial advisory practices.

Steve brings over 30 years of HR experience to his role, spending 20 years with General Motors/Electronic Data Systems (GM/EDS) as well as 10 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Under his leadership, he was focused on development and the execution of the firm’s Human Resource strategy. His responsibilities also included compensation, benefits, performance management, DEI, ethics, employee investigation, deployment, talent acquisition/retention, executive development and coaching, and immigration. Prior to joining USA Financial, while still at GM/EDS, he was responsible for managing 104 HR employees, all managed through 4 direct report managers.

Steve graduated from Central Michigan University with a major in Communications and minor in Business Administration. He is SHRM and HRCI SPHR Certified (Senior Human Resource Industry Certifications). He enjoys spending time with family and trying new culinary spots in town. You can often find him and his kids on the local trails, biking as he is an avid mountain biker. When the Michigan weather is not ideal for outdoor biking, he jumps on the Peloton bike to fill the void until he can get back outside to ride.
