It depends on your event goals and if you’re planning on serving a meal. With a meal, restaurants or private clubs are nice. Without, look for college classrooms, libraries, or community rooms.

Your goal drives the ideal presentation length. For prospect events, 45 minutes is the maximum. It’s best to have tested (and practiced) presentations that leave some questions unanswered for your attendees.
